A – Z Blogging Challenge – Day 14

So we’re on to the 14th letter of the alphabet, and its N for New Music

Well, as you probably know by now, I’m a big music fan and one of the things I most enjoy is discovering new music and new artists. My most recent discovery has been a guy called Keith Mullins. I saw him and his band this last Saturday supporting the Saw Doctors, and was simply blown away by his music.

Straight after his performance we bought his cd, The Great Atlantic, and I’ve not stopped listening to it since, it’s a superb album, check it out….

A – Z Blogging Challenge – Day 13

Well we’re now on April 24th and it’s been a few days since my last post, partly due to work commitments until yesterday, then yesterday I was down in London, with Thomas for a gig. We went to see one of my favourite groups, The Saw Doctors

Whilst talking about gigs, this has given me the idea for the 13th letter of the challenge.

M is for Myrockdatediary
This is a blog I started earlier this year to document all my many gig and festival experiences. I’ve been going to gigs since I was a teenager and still enjoy them as much now as I did then.

As I approach my half century, I’m often asked “Aren’t you getting a bit old for all this?” or words to that effect. My answer is always the same, I’ll stop when I no longer get those moments that send shivers down your spine, be it from the music, the crowd, the stage show or the atmosphere at the gig.

When that happens, I’ll stop, but it hasn’t happened yet!

So, myrockdatediary is my way of keeping track of all those great memories, take a look at the site and if you’ve got any special memories of gigs you’ve been to, I’ll be more than happy to have you post on the site as a guest.

At the moment, I’m also doing a 30 day song challenge on the site, which is proving to be quite interesting as well!

Needless to say, I’m behind schedule on that as well!
